Fascinating research that sets out how the subjects we study in school impact on our political preferences in later life. Studying Business Studies, Economics or a technical subject such as Design & Technology is associated with right-leaning politics. And studying the arts: Drama, Music, Art or History is associated with support for the progressive left.
It puts a different lens on a relentless focus on STEM subjects at the expense of the arts and languages.
